FUNDING £2.4 million AChieveD
Although we had reached our funding target in 2023 with a Public Works Loan Board supported by Caistor Town Council, the Trust will now be seeking funds elsewhere for this part of the fiance required.
£2.4 million is already in place and we expect additional grants and loans to be agreed by March 2024
plans include transforming 2-4 Market PLace into:
- Three new retail spaces
- A permanent home for the town archive
- A restaurant/cafe Five self-catering holiday lets
- Reinstatement of an outdoor courtyard
- Two business/office or craft units
- New first floor community space to hire for functions and exhibitions

Not only will this historic building be restored but it will also significantly contribute to the economic and social regeneration of Caistor town centre.
The project will create new jobs, support new and existing businesses, increase footfall in town, support our visitor economy, and offer new and exciting volunteering and partnership opportunities for our community.
